First post, so I shall put the info into it.
I'm a long time Type I diabetic .. 32+ years (diagnosed at age 5)
I'm a long time Dialysis patient .. 9+ years
Been awaiting a Kidney transplant for those 9 years, but after 2 strokes and too many heart attacks to count and partial amputation on my right foot (from Mrsa) I've been put on hold too many times to count.
I was partially paralyzed after my first stroke and spent 3 years in a wheel chair, was told I would never walk again.. good thing I Ignored my doctors.. because I can now walk, ride a bike again etc.. although somewhat slower then I use to be able to and with assistance of Leg Braces.. I CAN WALK :) Bad doctors bad.. don't always listen to them.
Been Declared dead more then enough, something or someone is keeping me here for some reason.. I think it's simply my stubborness.. I want to live forever, because there is so much that I have not done, which many of those things is even the simplest that some accomplish. I have yet to do what I wish.. but working on it.
Avid Bike rider, but not this past year was unable to fix my good bike I saved a few years up for took it to a repair shop and they never fixed it but charged me anyways.. so I donated it to victims of a Apartment fire in Burien. Got another bike that sat for a year and just got it fixed.. just it's too big and too heavy for me to ride .. hopefully find a way to trade it off or something so I can get back to biking.. if I don't use my legs I loose them, so I have motive here.. just Recession = no money for bike especially on disability.
Alot of other hobbies, I like carshow / taking pictures since I cannot drive anymore due to legal blindness. And, collecting Diecast cars.. specifically Impala's and Mustangs :) but anything with flames on it works.. lol.
Getting back into Aquariums again after giving away my big tank that was 175 G .. was my pride and joy but .. had to be done.
Not sure what else to put here.. this is just a begining
